How much should it cost to frame a 16x20 photo?

I have a nice picture of my girls in this HUGE format... I like the frame store at pictureframes.com... the Interactive shop allows you to get a look at what you're buying, and that's neat.

Anyway to mat and frame the picture comes out to about $55 including the $10 in shipping.. :|

Does that seem about right?

That's really cheap. I'm looking for a frame/mat about the same size, priced it up there, then went to Michael's and the price was $220. Michael's always has 50% off deals, but even that is twice as much as pictureframes.com

Edit:
My frame is actually 11x20, so figure yours would probably be substantially more at Michael's

If you want something cheaper, you could get a pre-made frame that's approximately the right size and crop the photo. You could get them to cut the mat at pictureframes.com

Also, I'm not sure if the frames come with glass at pictureframes.com, so take that into consideration. The glass would probably be about $10

Alright... I guess I'm a cheap fvcker...

Hell I got the print for free from my sister in law.. why should I complain.. 😀

They won't ship glass.. the price I quoted includes non-glare plexi and corrugated backing...
