I believe it is limited to 8 gigs of RAM if using the 64 bit version. All 32 bit versions are limited to 4 gigs of RAM.

Around 3-4 GB depending on many system resources your video cards/other HW take up. You should see the full 4 GB and higher with the 64-bit version.
