How much power does the xBox consume?

My friend is going to buy the Xbox in US (110V) and is going to take it to india (220V). There are two converters he saw, for less than 50W, and over 50W. I am guessing it is over 50W, but just to make sure. I am also guessing that he can use the over 50W one for less than 50W as well. Is that correct?

I know this may not be the right forum, but I didn't know which would be better. Thanks.
 
I would guess that it's in the region of 150W. There's some fairly hefty hardware in there and if you think how much juice a comparable PC would use (PIII 733, Geforce 3.5, hard disk, DVD) it's probably about that.

I believe that you'll be able to run applications requiring less than 50W off a transformer with higher output, unless the opposite is stated. Check the maximum output of the 'over 50W' model as well.
