How much power does a VCR clock use? My UPS connected to the VCR ran out of juice during a blackout

in my area, the power flashes everytime there's a storm. and it kills the vcr clock.

i got tired of it, and connected it to one of those free after rebate 300W UPS.

worked fine for couple of years. then i go away for the weekend. there was a huge storm, and when i come back, the vcr clock was blinking.

so can anyone calculate how many hours the clock will last on a 300W ups?

Unplug the ups and time it.

Perhaps the batteries it in are going bad.

yeah, basically after the ups dies the vcr will turn off too.

I have a small stand alone clock radio and it's rated at 6 watts.

As mentioned, it sounds like the UPS battery may be weak or in need of a charge.
