how much power does a sapphire x800gt consume

i read on the 20/24 PSU thread that wihtout the last 4 pin the video card can only get 72 watt power (unless it has a external power connector.) my new x800gt does have a power connector but came wiht no cable so i simply installed it. it work very well (even while playing games like black and white 2 @ 1024x768 at high settings. so i want to know how much power the card need (i cannot find this info anywhere in the manual).. also should i buy a pci-E power connector and connect it to the card or is ti ok.

If it's running fine in gaming then i wouldn't worry too much.

If you start getting any errors at all then i'd order one sharpish.

sorry for the wrong spelling. it ran quake 4 and black and white 2 @ 1024x768 at high settings without artifacts. also ran ati tools 3d view without issues (except the temprature increases so i have set fan speed to go to 100 % when temprature get above 50. should i reduce this 50 ?) then temps never go above 60. so am i ok ?

around 40watts...from what i've seen in this article...id say max 45 watts since it needs a 4 pin connector...im running an x700pro which has a 3 pin connector on a 250watt psu without problems YET...

thanks. i too read an artcle in wixch it said it does not need external power BUT i could not find how much it consumend and it confused the hell out of me.
