How much power do UPS Backups consume?

How much power does a typical home office UPS backup consume in maintenance mode (i.e. battery has already gone through initial charge and no power outages have occurred)?

I wouldn't bother plugging my VCR and other non-critical devices into UPS backups I'm not using for my PC if they drain a noticeable amount of Watts.
