How much power do I need?????

Hello, everyone. How much power would I need to run an Asus CUSL2, Pentium 3 1Ghz, Promise RAID card, CDROM, CDRW, DVDROM, SBLive! Drive Bay, (2) IBM 7200rpm ATA100 HDDs, Floppy, (4) 80mm cooling fans, Asus V7700 Deluxe AGP card, NIC, and a modem???? Would 300W do it or should I go higher? I was thinking of the Antec SX1030 with a 300W PSU, or if I needed a 400W, I would go with the Antec SX1040 or the SX1240 full tower. What do you guys think?

300W should be just fine. Check out my system rig and it is fairly comparable to yours. I would be more concerned about the heat you are going to produce with that many CD/DVD drives and HDs especially if you plan to overclock the beast! hehe

Good luck!

I don't plan to overclock at all. I don't believe in that, but that's just me. Also, I do plan to get another Enermax 531W. I am using one right now in my AMD 1Ghz system. It's a nice ass PSU, but comes at a mighty price tag. 🙂 I bought mine at Crazy PC. Awesome service!
