How much PC gaming do you do per week?

24+ hours isn't a very large target for the high end. I've easily spent 60 hours gaming in a week before and the hardcore MMO players can put in 100. Lately I've probably spent around 28 depending if I'm traveling or not.

EDIT:
When I turn 30 in a couple months I may find myself suddenly motivated to give them up and do something interesting with my life.

let us know if that happens and what you do 🙂

Translation: I wanna be one of the cool guys who spend more than they earn.

When I was playing WoW it was easily over 45+ hours a week. Recently sold my account so im down to zero.

I put 8-12. I probably average about 1-2 Dota games a day with some days at 3-4 and some days at none. And then a little bit of CS pubbing with friends, maybe 2ish hours a week.

Currently, zero. When I took a sabbatical and BF2 came out, probably 4+ hours a day but I also was a server admin and played on TWL and CAL teams. But for the last couple of years, 0-4 and playing what and where ever my friends were playing online.

Yeah, u might be UNLIKE Malladine and actually get a real life.
Man, this guy has a baby on the way and a wife that obviously doesn't care about him
OR a gf who decided to get pregnant and manipulate. Lame and Pathetic either way.

I'd say like 8-14.

only PC gaming I really do anymore is WoW raids (3 days a week @ 2 hours/raid, 1 day a week @ 4 hour/raid, plus logging in half an hour before raids start and hanging around for half an hour after the raid ends)... it's a lot less at the moment, since we haven't done our 4 hour raid in almost 2 months (not needed with current content) and our third raid of the week tends to be a shortie, but it might change after Ulduar comes out.

(current schedule is 3D-Sarth/Malygos on Tuesday, three wings in Naxx on Wednesday, the fourth wing + Sapp/KT on Thursday, and a 4 hour raid scheduled for Sundays that we haven't needed to use in awhile)

I only play a lot when I'm in the middle of a game. That's like 4-8 hours maybe? or more? But I've gone without even a minute of gaming during random weeks too. Just really depends what's been going on in life.

So you choose to not get a job. You can get a Mcjob but most people think they are too good for those type of jobs and would rather have no job than work somewhere that's "beneath" them.

You know what? That's actually a good point.. No, I don't feel that these jobs are "beneath" me. Far from it actually. But the thing is, if I start working such jobs, I might as well do this stuff for the rest of my life because I will never get a better job. This sort of jobs cant be listed in a resume, and do not make the employer any more willing to hire you unless you are applying for the same job. I worked a few odd jobs in the past, but after several job fairs and interviews I've been politely told that random jobs don't belong on an IT resume, then I was said the same thing by someone else, and after a while, yet again, someone told me the same thing, but this time not in a polite manner. I guess some people really try to get their point across, and it's irrelevant how they do it. Hey, at least I got the point!

My friend works in a supermarket for about 10 years now, and although, unlike me he has some money in the pocket he is not much better off. Look, I'm not saying McJobs are inherently bad, and I'm not trying to defend myself. I don't really have an excuse here, and I am agreeing with you, but you gotta admit that working as a cashier or something of that sort after having spent several years in college kinda defies the whole point of getting a college diploma in the 1st place. At least that is how I see it.

When in college it was about 30 hours per week which is crazy if you think about it.

Nowadays I don't get on the computer until the kids are in bed, and some must-see TV cuts into that time so it ends up at about 8 hours per week with at least half of that happening on the weekend.

I try to squeeze in about an hour or so per day, will throw a bunch of hours on a weekend if I'm close to the end of a game.

Back in high school when SFII and MK dropped? Back in college with UT? I don't like to think about it.

There's a man after my own heart. I'd just add Counter Strike to the list of "WTH, how many hours?!!!" list.

4-8 hours

I just don't play as much as I use to. Damn aging. Think I'm getting jaded. Haven't turned on my PS3 in months either. I find it funner to nef here, blast music, 'tube and search random crap.

If I do play, it's mainly Left4Dead. Just can't stand the load times in Empires:Total War, and don't want to pay for an upgrade right now.

So tell me Poindexter, how does actually having a job (albeit a "McJob") do your diploma more of an injustice than sitting at home on your ass playing computer games? Hmmm?

0-4 hours.

Between work, training and trying to have a social life, I am exhausted by the end of most workdays. Maybe an hour one weeknight and 1-2 hours on weekends. Currently playing GTR2.
