Also for the Snap-On truck to drive by your place of work on a regular basis to hand you the free lifetime replacement.

This... This is not a weekend warrior tool either and if you do it for a living like myself and tend to wear out alot of tools but get them replaced for free and most of the time with an updated version... Also just for info $50 for a tool that makes my life alot easier and problem free out in the field or even at the shop is just a drop in the bucket compared to the $75K-$80K in tools that I currently own...

BTW the strap wrench was just a suggestion something cheaper that will work is fine, I just know what will work in severe conditions and last...

well crap, amazon has lots of good reviews, the harder you turn the harder it bites...guess i will see. there is no room for a strap wrench for sure, and my channel lock is not side enough...

You might have better luck than I did. When my oil filter wrench of similar style failed it eventually took my buddy with a strap wrench and me with two hands on the oil filter to break it loose, so you might be okay.

success! the filter wrench gripped the stuck on filter, pinched it, and got it loose. very satisfied with the $8 spent. about half a quart dripped out so I had enough to replace it with, instead of the whole drain-and-reuse...

Congrats!

Those work very well, if used correctly.
