How much of a noticeable difference?

My rig consists of:

Athlon XP 2400+ OC'ed to 2.1GHZ
ASrock K7VM2 MB with 2 sd and 2 ddr slots
640mb PC133 sdram (512+128)
Asus radeon 9600xt 128mb

I'm just curious what kind of a difference in performance I would notice if I was using DDR ram?

The MB is rated for DDR2100 ram I would get faster ram for future upgrades why settle for ddr2100.

If anyone has a SD/DDR motherboard and has gone from SD to DDR what sort of improvement would i see. Any 411 is greatly appreciated.

Back when I had a K7S5A, I did some comparison tests between PC2100 and PC133. Difference in performance: 0% to 10% depending on the task. Not something you're likely to notice without benchmarking, anyway.

personally, i wouldn't upgrade what you have, i would just put the $$$ into an acct for a new machine. no disrespect meant...
