How much Nvidia CP's tweaking affect in games?

i wanna know to Nvidia cp tweaking is really affect the games and application? if it is what setting i change and what setting i don't.
I heard the right tweaking leads to smoother gameplay and increase fps.

also updated drivers has some extra features how does it helps?
Any idea how manage this settings and how much performance/quality i gain?
the latest drivers are good or native drivers (the one with comes with GPU cd)?

You can change a variety of settings using NV cp but mostly it is AA modes.New drivers typically brings out bug fixes and performance improvements so updating drivers is a good idea.But remember just because a driver is WHQL doesn't necessarily mean it is bug free.If you want tweaking advice you have to ask them game by game basis.

Some games ignore the control panel's AA settings regardless of what you set it to. You'd need to use Nvidia Inspector to force a certain AA mode. This could come with it's own glitches in the game after adjusting some things.

It's all a matter of trial and error.
