is there anyone used or using GlobalWin FOP38 cooler?
i've heard that the cooler has very good performance but too noisy..
how much noisy is that? can you guys give me an example alike that noise?

A friend of mine has one and frankly, it's annoying as hell. It's really loud.. High-pitched, sounds like a banshee screaming for however long the system's running. I guess the closest thing to how it sounds is..

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

Or something of that sort.

It's really good, though.. I think the reason that it's so loud is because it's small but it spins really fast. If you can take the noise, get one.. If not, the FOP32 is the best choice.

It is VERY loud. 45+ db and it sounds like you got a friggin vacumn cleaner running in your room when it is on. I have the same fan that the fop-38 has on my Alpha Pal3065 and I am replacing it as soon as my Antex Sx830 case arrives on monday with a Sunon 23cfm fan. Yes I will lose a little performance, but I will have a much quieter computer.

The Delta 38 cfm isn't loud, IF you live right next to a freeway that's very busy 24/7/365. If you have the good fortune to reside in a quieter neighborhood, the Delta is a L O U D room mate. Oops, I meant house mate, uhh neighbor. If you can keep your PC in the next county, you'll be OK.

The trouble is, there's no other 60mm fan that compares to it. Perhaps a ducted 80mm might equal it's cooling power. If that were true, how come I've never seen one? It's about time!
