Wife was coming home from work yesterday, and she hit a waterspot on the interstate, she spun around, hit the guard rail with the rear of the car, then spun back around and hit the front end. Damn now we are down 2 cars and have now way of replacing them. This sucks.

Just a recap for you folks,

Jan 21, some jackoff hits me on the interstate and totals my truck, out of work 2 weeks.

Grandfather is in and out of hospital, his bones are breaking just under his own body weight because of all the steroids he is on just to breath. He is dying, we are just playing the waiting game.

Sunday, Wife totals other car, she is banged up, sore, but doing ok.

And now today the Dr that is taking careof my grandfather has ORDERED him back to the hospital for food and water. He is not eating. They are taking him via ambulance to the hospital. I believe we have reached the time where we just put him on a morphine drip and wait.

So again, I ask: How much more can go wrong?

<Hee Haw song>
Gloom despair and agony on me,
Deep dark depression and excessive misery,
If it went for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all
Gloom despair and agony on me.

sorry to hear of your misfortunes 🙁

is your son doing ok? if my kids were sick/hurt, that would bother me more than anything that could happen to me/my wife.
try to stay positive, things will turn around for you :sun:

It always could be worse. Just don't think that you're the most miserable unlucky person in the world. Other people have it worse than you on a daily basis. Having said that, I hope your grandfather feels better and you'll find a job.🙁 Be optimisstic.🙂

I know that is good she survived, but damn! Why does this have to happen now? My son is ok, he was with me at my parents house when it happened.

ok.... i don't get it, you are down 2 cars with no way of replacing them? in your accident you say someone hit you. so it wasn't your fault. i'm thinking his insurance should be paying you for a new vehicle.

You don't have automobile insurance??

Also, most auto repair shops have vehicles they can loan you while your vehicle is in the shop.

I have a job, so that counts for something, as well as she has a job. but we were just beginning to climb out of a financial black hole, when all this happens.

I know cars and material possesions can be replaced, I am just venting/ranting at this point.

We were upside down on both cars. so when we pay them off, we will still owe money, and yes I have insurance, and the guy who hit me, his insurance is working on an offer for settlement at this point. just got to hurry up and wait.
