I just applied for a job as a golf attendant and have no idea what it means or how much the pay is, all I know is that it requires little experience, has good benefits, and is close to my home. Assuming I get the job, how much per hour should I ask for, and what the hell is a golf attendant? Here is the ad:

how much should you ask for? whatever they offer you id say.. i dont think you're in much position to be asking for a certain pay as im sure you're expendable and easily replaceable if they don't wanna pay you what you ask for...

Since you CLEARLY have no experience in this field/position, you'll take what they give you.

some menial places are punks about it and make you request a salary so they can get someone for 5 instead of 5.15

I understand that but I mean what if they ask me, I don't want to say too low or too high. I made 6.89 at my last job so I am hoping at least that much. Thanks.

You will probably get minimum wage + tips.
Nicer C.C. have attendants put the players golf bags on the carts for them, give them range balls to hit etc... Basically you take care of the golf carts, driving range, and maybe some club house work also ringing up people and stuff.
