I'm not very greedy. One billion USD is enough for the rest of my life

I'd be happy with $15.00 an hour...or if you're talking one lump sum then any amount would be nice. If you mean like a dream amount to live on for life then about 500,000-600,000 should be fine. That would earn around $30,000 a year in simple interest, more than enough to live on.

That would give me an investment income of approx $200,000/year, and lets say half of it was taken by taxes, that would leave me with $100,000 net/year.
