How much money do you save up?

Per month or week or year whatever you feel like reporting...

I have been working on saving some money for no real reason except for maybe future needs and have been managing to save up around $600 every month. Not a HUGE amount but I'm hoping it adds up and surprises me one of these days.
 
15% of my salary goes to 401k/stock purchase and another 15-20% goes to savings. Savings account is at ING currently earning 2.8% (or has that gone up within the past two days).
 
I save whenever I can.

I currently have $2K in my checking account and $10K in my savings account.

I had 10K in my savings account this time last year too, though 🙁 I just finished putting back the money I had to take out to pair for car repairs (in the course of a month, I got into an accident (my fault) and had a couple problems with my engine).
 
Just put $4k in my ING account.. i still have about as much in my checking account, so I'm gonna put more into savings..

you must make some serious money to pay rent,heat,lights,internet,
transportation,food,etc...
And still save over $1,000 a month.

I am lucky to save $100 a month....

Darn heat,and electric costs keep going up;along with everythng else,
I wanted to get my house vinyl sided,I doubt that will ever happen. 🙁
