psychiatrists have to go to med school. keep that in mind.

please don't pick a career based on how much "they charge an hour." it can take many years before you can charge the premium prices. do a search for psychologists - you'll see the newer accredited ones from nowhere schools charge a lot less per hour.

Psychiatrists are M.D.'s, first of all. They are real doctors, and chose to treat mental issues, vs. physical ones. That's why they can prescribe medicine.
