Hello;

Making a new build
i7 5930K
Asus x99 rampage V extreme
1TB Samsung Pro
1TB Samsung Evo
2 780 or (3 or 4) 280x (canceled 280x)

I like to keep my pc and browser open 24/7.
Wondering what speed DDR4 ram should I get?

Currently have 16GB 1333MHz and it is usually 40-60%, have to restart pc every week and a half since it reaches 97% ram usage.

the ram leak is not a hardware problem, its a software problem.

as for the ram, just get something reasonaly priced - ram speed doesn't affect performance as much as it did years ago.

also, reading from your shopping list, are you sure you need all that stuff? you really want 4x crossfire cards?? what for?
i doubt you need anything like that unless you have an eyefinity setup. do you?

You will not be able to keep your PC on and your browser open with that setup. You will need one of these to be able to do that:

Less memory equals less stress on the CPU, not sure if your getting four or more sticks? Turn on all power savings options under the CPU, how are you cooling it?

Or just any old crappy computer running Linux. The need to restart is a Windows issue having almost nothing to do with hardware. That's why you don't see any web servers running Windows.

Mother of God. For a second I wanted to hug it. So bright and shiny.

You probably only need 10MHz or so. Provided the processor and program are wide enough.

Honestly, how do you reach 97% usage? Just buy more memory.
