Personally, I have a pair of 1GB cards for my Rebel XT, and a pair of older 256MB cards that I use in my A80.

40mb, ish, on my Cell Phone, and my brothers digital camera has 16mb built in, and he has a 32mb SD Card

I have one 512MB SD card for my Canon A510 and two 1.0GB SanDisk Ultra II CF cards for my EOS-20D.

8GB microdrive... RAWs are big..... and no need to skimp on pictures in the digital world...

1 x 1 GB SD for the D50 and 1 cf card for my sd200. its either 128 or 256, i forget.

2gb and 512mb for the xt, and a 256meg for the a80. and the XT ones are high speed..... boing!

i only have a 3.2MP camera
i have several SD cards, but normally just keep a 64MB in it and another 64MB spare in the case
if we go on a trip i might put a 256MB in it to reduce the number of times i have to download to my laptop

I have a 6gb one and I don't worry much. I figure the biggest chance of it crapping out would be from a drop and if it gets dropped it's probably falling with the camera.
