How much is your heating bill?

We have gas heating, and the bill is around $320/month. Is this the average in the Boston area? Ofcourse, it depends on the size of the house and its age....but i just want to know what other people are paying anyways.

I heat 1200 sq ft with electric baseboard for $80/month.

my electric bill last month (house is all electric with ground source heat pump for H/C) was $106

but we had a super mild november, that is the lowest our bill has been since we moved in

next month will be over $200 probably due to the much colder temps last week

I am in the Boston area. When I had Bay State Gas in my old apartment in the winter it was about $200/month for a very, very small place. Now that the rates of gas our so high and your place is bigger than mine was (I am sure), $320 sounds about right. I have a house and oil heat now, it just cost me $450 to fill up the tank. Might last 1.5 - 2 months in the peak of winter. BTW - In that old apt., In the summer hot months my gas bill was less than $20.

About $210 last month for gas heat. We even insulated the house last spring but its still very cold. Of course the dam thing was built in 1902, so its well ventilated. 🙂

About $130 for 1600 ft^2 here in Colorado Springs. That's thamong the highest I've had in 7 years here, and I don't recall Nov. being all that cold. The December bill is going to suck.

I'd say about $200/mo. for oil heat in the winter... and we don't keep it above 70 here 99% of the time. We just have really old/thin windows.

Last month's bill was $24. That includes all gas usage--hot water, dryer, stove top.

alright, i found out the square-ft: 1800 sq ft, built in the early 1900's. It does have new windows, which helps a little.
