How much is your electricity bill last month?

I'm on the buget plan. I pay a straight $200 every month for combined gas and electric.

Very sensible (in that you elected to pay over the course of the year, and not get hit during peak times. BUT $2,400 a year seams awfully 'gouge'y for those two utilities for one year; even taking into account peak rates???)

Our electric is bout $60 a month. I live in Baaahstan, MA and so far, it's been a very mild summer. But Jesus Christ, you folks should see all the electronics I use in one room.

BUT, our gas bill in the winter (we have forced hot air) peaks about $225-300, PER MONTH! Last Wintaah was brutal! On Jan. 7th it was -14 Below in Boston. Nevertheless:

DAMN YOU KeySpan gas, DIE, DIE, DIE!!! You greedy Chiseler's!

My last bill was 40$. This one is an "Estimate" of the meter reading. They estmated I used double this month???

But It's not worth it to go through the Phone system to find out about this stuff 😛


Oh,,,,, and It's a Two bedroom ,two floor house. T.V about 4 hours a week,2 Computers on most of the time,A Dog, A girlfriend that stays over a couple of nights a week and myself.

The apartment I live in has an electric water heater and furnace,I didnt even know they made them until we moved it.For a 1000 sq foot apatment our bill averaged about $200 a month in the winter,I was so pissed,we have no gas at all and it runs that much.Paying about $100 now in the summer
