Pick whichever answer is closest to your limit.

I've had my card for about a year but I'm still limited to $500 :(

EDIT: It was the first card I got, right when I turned 18. It was the first one I got in the mail so I signed up. I always make my payments on time, but once I went over the limit by a couple bucks so I got a $29 charge. Does that affect my credit?
Should I just apply for a better card? Rewards, interest and that kind of thing don't matter to me.

My highest is around $20.000, the others range from $5,000 - $18,000

I've never even come close to charging that. I average around $1300 a month and I charge EVERYTHING.

Even car insurance which earns me 1% rebate, w00t!

2500 + 5000 + 4000 + 2500 = $19k

The last two are 0% interest ones that I've pretty much maxed out so far =/

my CC company keeps increasing my limit. Its at 15k now and I would have absolutely no hope of paying off a full balance if it were to happen. Thank god I only use it for singular large purchases which I can pay off in full anyways.

About $100K, but I'm an old man that always pays off the bill each month (they always raise the rate hoping you'll charge more than you can pay off.)

Hey.. are you fishing? ;)

However much is in my bank account.

Right now, about $100, and I still have to put gas in the truck. :(

I used to have a card with a $26,000 limit. One of many... But that was back in my younger, dumber, pre-bankruptcy days.

I went over once by like $2. Stupid b@stards killed me with the charge. I thoguht cards get declined when they hit the stupid limit. Isn't that the point of the limit? Good god.

When I was 18 I got a $600 CC. I outgrew that in about 8 months and I threw it out for Blue Cash by AMEX and a new cashback card from BoA. I was stupid and I realized I was signing up for the wrong cards (thanks to Rossman) and I switched to Citi in about 4 months (Dividend Platinum Select). They gave me a measly $1500 limit despite having 8k each from both my BoA Visa and AMEX (I guess that already gave me 16k so they can't give me much more). Switched to Costco AMEX also.

Now I have:

Costco AMEX: 8k
Dividend Platinum Select: 2.5k
BoA Visa: 9.4k (I don't even touch this card, maybe I Should cancel it, but someone once told me there are places that don't take MC and only Visa? Doubt this is true, and haven't had to run into one of those places yet)

That totals to what.. nearly 20k? 19.5k? Plenty.

BTW, I pay off every month. I'm 20 now, turning 21. Last I checked my credit rating was 747, but that was when I was 19.

My highest limit is in the $20k range, and my total is around $100k. I never come near those limits, as I pay my cards off every month.

About $44K on one card, and a little over $100K total. All have zero balance, or paid off by due date.
