How much is this worth?

i'm building a new computer and selling this one, im trying to figure out a good price range to ask for

The System

Intel Pentium 4 Prescott 2.8
ASUS P4S800 Deluxe Edition
ATI Radeon 9600 XT 128MB
512 MB PC2700 (Kingston)
Western Digital 60 gig hdd (caviar)
52X CD-RW (not sure what brand)
Aspire X-Gear Case (dented in few spots)

all parts are NOT damaged, nice computer for about 2 years!

You won't get 500 for this, maybe like $400. I think you need to learn the rules, NO PRICE CHECKS PLEASE!

Try EBAY. Fair value is probably around 300.

Total: $463. These do not include shipping. However, you cant sell a used system for the price of brand new components. So I'd be looking at $400 or less. Plus this Guy is selling this system for $500:

P4 Prescott 3.4ghz, 925x, 1 Gig PC4300 533mhz 4-4-4-11, Asus 6600gt Oc's to 550/1200, Maxtor Diamond Max 9 80 gig HDD, NEC-3500 DVD-RW! + 2nd 48x CD-RW, Gigabit ethernet) - so I dont see how yours is worth $500.

What are you planning to sell this system for though? As an easy upgrade you can:

1) overclock P4 2.8 to 3.5ghz
2) change the videocard to 6600GT or 6800NU (and try to unlock the pipes)
3) get more 512mb of ram (pc2700 shoulndt hinder P4 too much - plus it might overclock to pc3200 speeds)
