I'm in Illinois so that doesn't include tax. Tax is taken off all of our gas for a good amount of time. The gas companies are being bitches out here with the whole Ethanol thing.

$1.65, about half of which is local, state and federal taxes. btw if you vote for either Shrub or Bore you send the feds this message: "great job, keep it up!".

$1.499 per gallon, over half of which is taxes (thanks democrats, there was a bill to suspend the taxes during this crisis but you refused to even do the citizens who pay you a single favor). Oh yeah and its crappy 83 octane montana crap. We make gas here, but get crappy stuff and ship the good stuff to washington state.

Drove through Palo Alto yesterday and saw it at 2.07 for 87 octane. Yipes.

87 octane is $1.59
89 octane is $1.69

Natural gas prices have gone up even more than gasoline. Roughly doubled (or more).

Gas was $1.45 for 89 octane last week... it got as low as $1.29 in some places... :D

in the uk it is 82p a litre. about $1.14 A LITRE. in conversion at the moment apparently
