How much is it to replace car airbags?

How much is it to get front and side airbags put into a car? I'm thinking about buying a car but its missing the airbags.

The labor won't be that much, but the airbags themselves are pretty expensive IIRC.

I believe airbags add up real quick. It may cost you a few grand to replace all of them.

Airbags are usually min. $1500 used/pulls. And you don't want used/pulls. Though you don't exactly need airbags regardless.

use ebay, they seem fairly inexpensive.

They can range from $400.00-$1,500.00 each.

Looks like $800 or so for used pulls, with module

Or you can call a late model dismantler, or watch ebay for individual bags from private sellers...there's one on there now for $35 with no bids...

May have to wait a bit for the right color to pop up though.

acrtualy the reason i was getting a new car was cause my current car is a hand me down w/ no air-bags that my dad lost in a "fender bender" : )

We almost had to total my sister's '91 Corsica several years ago just because the airbag went off.

Don't buy a car without airbags, you have no idea what it's been through and chances are you can't trust the guy selling it to be honest if it's been in a bad accident
