Was 74.9 pence per litre in my old haunt of Colchester, Essex, England when I filled up there at the weekend

Its about 74.9p a litre here at the moment...

74.9 pence x 3.3.785 (litres in a gallon) =283.4965pence per litre.

At the current exchange rate (1 USD = 0.630571 GBP) we get..

$4.49 USD a gallon :Q

Last time I filled up it was $1.59/gal. Now I think its close if not already at $2/gal.

Regular is up to $1.99/gal now, premium $2.19 in my area. The 100 octane I mix in is still sitting at $4.29/gal for now at least.

If you'd stop taking that damned SR-71 to work you wouldn't have to pay $4/gal for gas.

Yup...great ain't it :|....That's for 95 Octane Unleaded....I sometimes 98 Octane Optimax which is about 81.9p per litre.
