74.9 pence x 3.3.785 (litres in a gallon) =283.4965pence per litre.

At the current exchange rate (1 USD = 0.630571 GBP) we get..

$4.49 USD a gallon :Q

Note that the fuel used in cars is called gasoline (hence the gas) and not petroleum. So you're wrong, not us.

Regular is up to $1.99/gal now, premium $2.19 in my area. The 100 octane I mix in is still sitting at $4.29/gal for now at least.

Yup...great ain't it :|....That's for 95 Octane Unleaded....I sometimes 98 Octane Optimax which is about 81.9p per litre.
