How much is gas by you?

How much is it by you?

Just saw 1.79 for regular at the BP on the corner of Hall and Hayes road in the north suburns of Detroit.

$2.07 at the end of the street. Chattanooga, TN.

I bought gas last week for $2.02.....but that was 3 miles away in Georgia. I think they have less gas tax. From the ratio, I would guess it's about $1.90 or so there.

the democrats voted to raise taxes and fees on oil companies. while not law yet, do you really expect that they won't get their way eventually?

Supposedly (atleast earlier this week) we in michigan had the cheapest gas prices in the country...

Cheapest gas within about 25 miles of me is $2.29. I could go across the bridge into NJ but it's out of my way. 🙁

Is that why gas in Lexington, KY went from $1.86 per gallon this morning to $2.09 by this afternoon? 🙁

As low as $1.76 here yesterday, then a 30 cent increase this morning. It rippled across town and everyone was that high at the evening commute.

I saw one of the news stations at a station, they said when they arrived, the station came out and dropped the price a dime in response to another gas station.

It's pretty much a city wide price war. The hike today is to capitalize on the weekend driving, which is pretty normal. I wouldn't be surprised to see it at $1.84 again in the middle of next week like it was when I filled up at noon.

Filled up for $2.33 a gallon (premium) at this one Chevron that always has prices 2-3 cents lower than all the surrounding stations (Hess, Circle K, 7-11/Citgo, etc.). I was going to fill up when I was still in Tampa near USF, but it was around $2.50 for premium there.
