Also, a lot of places don't know how to properly serve a Guinness, they just pour it in a glass and plop it down in front of you.

What is the proper way?
You pour out about 2 thirds, leave it to settle for about 3 minutes then when it's as black as the nights sky you slowly add the last third, with a medium head, possibly finish it off with a clover in the head.
The stuff that I drink would be at least $7, and usually more. But I don't drink pisswater beer.
Great way to describe it.
I'm not old enough to go to a bar and ask for a pint yet.

Interesting, I rarely drink that tar anyway. Sometimes if it's real cold and I feel like something super bitter...
I am in the same boat, but my post was based on the average beer that most places would have on tap.

I was really disappointed when I went to my favorite pub last night to find out they are out of my favorite brew 'Old Rasputin'. I tried Stone's Russia Imperial, but it was just nowhere close to the same.
First my favorite IPA stops selling in my state, now my favorite pub stops selling my favorite beer.
