How much is a liquor license in NYC?

I tried searching Google, but couldn't find a clear answer. If anyone is familiar with liquor licenses around the city, please post some information. My friend has a gallery on grand street off west broadway. It's extremely large, and could very well be a nice lounge/club/bar. We are in the thinking process right now trying to find out how much capital we would need...

New Jersey is so much more expensive, which is why I was surprised at the cheap license cost for NYC.
