How much is a IBook G3 600 MHz laptop worth?

EDIT:

So I finally got it to sell on ebay...had one auction and the winner bailed on me, but did re-imburse me 30 bucks (I was only asking for my auction expeses so that was nice)

So it sold yesterday for 238 dollars...so right around what everyone was saying...I am still kind of amazed that someone would want a mac that old...they really do hold their value pretty good.

I don't have any use for the notebook and don't have the time to invest on learning a new OS...I was considering putting it up on eBay but was curious what the market is on something like this...

it has OS X 10.2 installled, 256 mb's of RAM and 20 GB hard drive.

And an airport card too...

Turns on and looks like it works just fine...

Thanks,
Lee

The Airport card brings the value up (although not as much as it used to), but OS X 10.2 brings it a bit down IMO. I'd say close to 200 bucks, depending on the "whims of eBay".
Good luck!

If it's the old style PCCard Airport (I think it is) you may be better off taking it out and selling the two seperately.

But th emarket for those old airport cards are shrinking rapidly.

200 sounds high, but what do i know.

It does because I know the 1.33ghz iBook G4 is worth only about $300 to $350 these days. Computers usually depreciate at 30% per annum. It originally sold for $1299 so $100 to $150 should be about right assuming it's in good condition. Macs generally tend to hold their value better than PC laptops do but you won't get much for an 8 year old laptop.
