Why does 750 ml ring a bell? I think that was the last number I saw on the Smirnoff bottle before I polished it off

Nah. The cheap ass vodka bottle in my freezer. I want to know how many shots (1oz) are in the bottle...

750 mL = 0.198129 gallons

and 0.2 = 1/5,

Which is why a bottle of hard liquor (usually 750 mL in size) is sometimes referred to as "a fifth" ;) I always refer to a bottle of anything as a fifth :)

Cool. 10 (atleast... maybe more) of those shots were taken in 16 minutes on an empty stomach when I was pissed as hell one night. Apparently adrenaline helps you out of being drunk or something like that - alcohol doesn't affect you as much when epinephrine is coursing through your veins. I was pissed as hell and I only kept a heavy buzz for about two hours. :disgust: I wanted to get roasted that night. Oh well. I've never wanted to get toasted since. But I usually take a shot before I go to bed after a stressful day. It's nice :)

I used to enjoy a good nightcap. Of course, I hear it interferes with sleep and I've been accused of being an alcoholic because I admit "it seems to help me get to sleep faster".
