I just thought it would be funny to know how much hd-space you guys have in you main rig. The space on all the drives (if you have more hd's) put together, you can eventually post the number and type of hd's you have.

I have 160Gb, all 7200rpm ide. 2x 40Gb IBM Deckstar 60Gxp, 1x 60Gb IBM Deckstar 60Gxp and 1x 20Gb IBM Deckstar 34Gxp (I think, didn't check if it was the same disk when I got it back from rma today).

Main computer.
6.4gb
11.5gb
60gb
80gb

Server,router,gateway,http,divx... other things computer
1gb
1.2gb
16gb (friend owns it though)

my poor computer has 4HD. all SCSI. uw scsi 2 for 2 of them. don't remember exactly the other 2. they total about 150Gb.

yes, i love my scsi. had one 60Gb ide drive for a while. the access time and slow transfer rates drove me crazy after i had been used to the scsi ones.

Main box:
4x 100 GB WD JB drives in Raid -0 = 400GB

Old Dell
2x 45 GB 75GXP = 90GB

4x 75GB 75GXP sitting on a shelf (came out of my old dualie box, will go into boxes I build for friends/family) = 300 GB

18gb Western Digital Expert 7200rpm

45gb IBM 75GXP 7200rpm.

= 63gb. I picked 60gb or less.

733,577,216 bytes free on C:\(18gb)
17,903,190,016 bytes free E:\(45gb)
-----
18,636,767,232gb free.

Still got plenty of room.. But I do want to pick up one of those spiffy 120gb drives sometime soon. 😉

I have a 20GB Western Digital 7,200RPM ATA/100 drive in my main rig. Since I don't have cable I've not had too much trouble with it filling up to quickly 🙂

I have a solitary 80gb Seagate BIV. Technically, I could have voted for "Less than 200Gb", because I do have less than 200Gb...😀
