Is beer a fruit?

I"m going to buy a bag of apples tomorrow and keep that doctor away. No joke.

not a cider guy. I'm thinking of waking up every morning with an apple or 2. Apples are pretty good right?

Heard somewhere that eating an apple for bkfast will wake you up quicker than a coffee

I'm going to buy a bag tomorrow and hopefully the following days make me not want to kill myself like normal. I'll let you guys know how the experiment goes.

Or I might just sleep in.

If you average it out over a year's time, more than zero. If an average is not what you want just put me down for zero.

I'll let you know in a week if you should eat apples. Thank me later or not.

I like apples but I am far too lazy to go get one out of the fridge. I actually ate one on Sunday.

I eat an apple almost every day. It's usually my afternoon snack after lunch. I used to eat oranges every day, but suddenly got tired of them. I have some in the fridge that need to go to the compost pile.

edit:
If you want to get into apples, don't get red delicious. Just don't. Half the name is a lie. If I were rich, I'd buy orchards just for the delight of cutting down red delicious trees. I'd consider it a public service.

I eat some every day but probably not enough. I've been trying to move away from chips when it comes to snacking, and going to fruit instead. Blueberries, grapes, etc. Need to incorporate more veggies though, especially greens. I steam broccoli sometimes with meals.

Baby carrots make good snacks. I was always resistant to them cause they're expensive for what you get, but Ill eat those. I don't always want a full carrot, and I like the convenience of not having to wash them. Full carrots aren't a good deal if I don't eat them.

My breakfast ALMOST every morning is two slices of “healthy” toast with natural peanut butter and sugar-free preserves, a low calorie yogurt, (Dannon light &fit greek) and either an orange or grapefruit.

Dinner usually includes a tossed green salad with lots of fresh veggies, as well as some kind of cooked vegetable.

My FAVORITE way to eat fruit is baked in a pie...but my weight loss plan doesn’t really include such deliciousness...

A lot. I usually buy enough grapes and blueberries to last me the week, but sometimes I'll buy strawberries if they're on sale.

A few days a week I have about 28 blueberries and 1/3 of a banana mixed in with some steel cut oatmeal for breakfast.

If I'm having a sandwich for lunch, I eat a whole carrot and tomato with it, along with some thin slices of cucumbers (on the sandwich), or if I'm having soup it's a homemade salad. Then I have about 10-12 grapes and some blueberries.

Mid-day snack is either a banana or apple, with some grapes and blueberries.

For dinner I'll tend to have green beans, or carrot/tomato and peppers/onions depending on what I make. After dinner I either have an apple, peach, or orange, and some more grapes and blueberries.

I eat a smoothie with lots of green stuff every work morning, take a salad to work, carrots, celery, fresh pineapple or grapes. Dinner is a crapshoot.

Many.

Lunch is over the course of the day for me, not all at once:
1/4 cup almonds
1/4 cup craisins
Celery
Carrots
Apple
Seasonal fruits/veggies like clementines, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc...
Gluten free pretzels

Dinner:
1/2 rice
1/2 cup black beans
3oz chicken
A green vegetable like baby spinach, broccoli, or green beans
1/3cup plain Greek yogurt

Often will have a smoothie for dessert.

2-5 apples a day, and at least 2 to 4 ounces of veggies at dinner. Sometimes more. And sometimes carrots, melon or pineapple or so as snack.

Yes they are vegetables. What else would they be?
Roots. The term "vegetable" is virtually meaningless. It's any plant that won't kill you if you eat it. Oranges, acorns, tomatoes, and marijuana are all vegetables. I'm not even sure what it means under common use. Roots, fruits, and greens look nothing alike, but they're called vegetables.

I keep a bag of raw spinach on hand, and try to eat half a bag a day. It's cheap - $1.80 - 2.60 - but not too filling. Nice dark green leaves loaded with nutrients, and a mild buttery flavor, unlike the tangy chlorophyll of lettuce.

Often I have a bowl of chopped fruits ... i.e. fruit salad ... typically made with kiwis, strawberries, nectarines/peaches, and grapes. At dinner.

In that case I'll usually smoke some vegetables daily.
