While I like most frostings I find there is usually way too much for my taste. I usually end up removing about 3/4 of it from whatever I am eating.
Oh bring on that buttercream please!

Obviously. But we're all in agreement, right? Buttercream is the best. I think this deserves a pohl.
buttercream > cream cheese > ..... > whip cream > ............. > icing > fondant
As a kid I used to love it. But now I only like a small amount.
Bonus: Because we refer to it as icing, whenever I hear the word frosting I think of the scene in Zack and Miri Make a Porno in which the one guy says, "She frosted me like a cake!"
You have to have seen it.
My wife home makes her frosting, and it's very good. I am usually hesitant about frosting on any kind of store bought cake, but sometimes they are good.
Just about enough to cover a cupcake, and even then that can be pretty ridiculous.
I've often said my wedding cake will be an ice cream cake. I don't like cake, especially wedding cake at all.
Ice cream cake is the only rational choice for a wedding.
The biggest issue I have with wedding cake is that they make the pieces so small! I don't care you have to feed 300 people, get a bigger cake then!#firstworldproblem
Yea, I agree. Actually, I can't remember the last cake I ate. Cakes vary so much in quality. Once you've had a magnificent cake or two, you are spoiled. I worked for a company almost 20 years ago that was gifted a very large magnificent cake and it opened my eyes. Most cakes taste crappy in comparison... the frosting, too. While I like most frostings I find there is usually way too much for my taste.
