How much free time do you have in college and what do you do in your free time? If you want, you can also list your college and major :p

Technically my only free time comes on the weekends, but that is usually interrupted by work and homework. Ive got 19 credit hours this semester which works out to 24 hours of class a week and then I work 13 hours on top of that. If I do find some free time, I will usually play some CounterStrike or browse the forums.

well, I really shouldnt have any free time at all, but I just procrastinate until the day before the assignment is due. So I have a bit of free time, followed by lots and lots of work.

sophmore, comp eng, Penn State.

I have a lot of free time this semester since its my last one. I only need 4 credits to graduate in May so I'm taking....yep, you guessed...4 credits.
I have class once a week for 3 hours and I work 9-5 Mon, Tues, Weds...Fridays are off :)

I figure since its my last semester of college I'm gonna enjoy it to the fullest.

Major Geography
Minors: Economics, astrophysics

I work 30 hours a work and work out daily. Surprisingly I have a good amount of free time and I play video games, video editing, dvd authoring, sound editing and recording (for friends band), hang out. I have no girlfriend, ie I have time on my hands.

16 credits (24 classroom hours) and work 20 hours. Pretty easy actually, and I have the full weekends so far to do what I want. Thinking about working a bit more to get some ca$h.

You have as much as you want.

As an EE in undergrad I took 22-23 credit hours per term and partied my ass off and graduated early.

As a law student I took 8-18 credit hours per term and worked my ass off at a job and graduated one semester late.

i'm taking 14 units, i have free time since i dont have class on tuesday or thursday, and well the quarter is young. i waste it hanging out with friends and going out. playing ball etc. i also sell laptops for money, which really doesnt take much time, so i guess that helps give me even more free time.

i think i'm the first social science major to post

I'm a sociology major @ Berkeley... and the classes do give me a lot of free time. However, I work 2 jobs and I also volunteer in a couple of campus clubs, and tutor kids in Oakland too.

you will get a WIDE range depending on what you do in college. First, it matters if you want to get straight A's, or just want to pass and graduate. If you want to get a high gpa you will probably still have a good deal of free time - probably like 3 hrs of class + 3 hrs of study a day... the rest spent doing whatever... If you just want to pass... you don't really have to go to class, and you only study a few days before exams... which means you have virtually all day and night to goof off. Also it matters what major you are. I think the sig somewhere says "there is EE in SLEEP but no SLEEP in EE." So that's a factor too.
