In Half Life 2? 2500+ Barton and 1gb of PC3200...

I find my 40fps or so is a little low for me.

I would say at least a 70% gain. Hell, even a 9800p would be a considerably leap.

6600gt will take you to the next "level" of gaming and you have sli capabilities in the future 🙂

Nothing I know of that runs a Barton can do any kind of PCIe, much less SLI.

Regardless, it's a healthy upgrade, though with prices the way they are now, it's not much more to step up to a 6800 vanilla.
