Ok say you were over 21 and you lost your ID so you were having someone buying some liquor for you at the liquor store...How much would say, a 6 pack of corona and 750 mL bottle of jack cost? When someone is buying alcohol I usually say get something for yourself...and say I gave this person $35...how much would this have costed them, i dont want to come out like a cheap ass

Too dumb a question to be worth a smart remark.

Lost your ID.....that's a good one I haven't heard before :D

Shouldn't have cost more than $20 depending on where you shop!

Seconded. Beer is like, what, 8 bucks, and jack is probably between 15-25. More around 15-20 though.

Yeah. OR, you could just wait until you're 21, deal with it, smile, and have a Coke. You're obviously a minor- you forgot the lime with the Corona! Duh!

Just call the liquor shop you planned on getting the stuff from if you know who's going to be getting the booze. Otherwise, have a general idea of what it's going to cost and give them a couple dollars extra, but a lil' something for them. You already have the right idea.

I don't put lime with my Corona so that is not an indicator of age.

When I was 15 I had to pay 20 for a 12 back of bud.

Damn older kids.

That sounds more like it. I usually tack on another 10-20% though, because of labor and handling costs. :D

I remember going to a 7 Eleven to buy a slurpee. A woman who looked like a teenager approached me asking if I could buy her a 6 pack of Bud, I said no and she said ok thanks. I found out later that day that law enforcement was running a STING operation and they've already nabbed 3 adults for buying alcohol/tobacco to minors. All they did was get a slap on the hand (ticketed fine).

Just wait until you actually turn 21 or get your ID replaced, it's as simple as that.

I'm fairly sure that it could be contested under the basis of "entrapment" depending on how much the undercover officer tried to persuade the offenders into buying alcohol.
