How much for PC build thats comparable to 'Xbox one X'?

Looking for budget build that would compete against the 'Xbox one X'.

What parts would you recommend?

That said, I would think that a $500 gaming PC would probably match it.

For that, you should be able to get a:

Lower End Intel Core i3 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor
16 GB of memory
A mid range graphics card like a GeForce 1650 or a Radeon 570
A small cheap (sub 420 GB) SSD or a 1 TB hard drive
A low cost case, and 500W power supply
