Since price checks aren't allowed in the FS/T forums, I thought I would ask here. I am looking into buying a new or used Turtle Beach Santa Cruz soundcard, and I need to know if some of these prices sound right: Forums - $65 (used) , Fleabay - $75 (new). Do those prices seem good?

Also, if any of you have the Santa Cruz, do you like it? What do you think of it?

Better sound quality than the Live! Works for Windows 2000, drivers may be occasionally flaky. I might be wrong. :)

I read they had more cpu overhead though. It's not a factor on faster cpu's but on that old p2 it migh take a noticeable chunk of your cpu cycles that a sblive would not. heard they were great cards though.

OK, the only drivers for Win2k are Beta drivers :( I wonder if they're any good?

I used to own a SBLive and an MX300, and I can safely say that (imho) the SC does positional audio as good (maybe better) than a MX300, and much much better than a SBLive.
