A lot on most days. I usually just put that time to use working on other web pages or programs. I agree with mrCide, I can only surf so much at one time.

Work...? D'OH! I forgot about work!

It usually depends. Somedays I'm swamped with stuff to test and some days (like today) I'm so far ahead that I'm forced to wait for something to do.

Hahaha. You just described the last two weeks for me. I always compare this field to a fireman. We sit around waiting for the alarm to go off then all hell breaks lose. After, we return to our desk (firehouse) and wait and wait for the next alarm. It's just a lot safer. :D

Some days I'm here sweating bullets until 9 at night - but when I don't have any meetings or trouble calls I have maybe 2 hours of real work to do per day. The ironic thing is, the better I do my job, the more it looks like I'm slacking off.

At my retail job, close to non. At the helpdesk, probably 50% of the time. I've solved 47% of all the calls I've taken at the helpdesk this semester which I guess is a good number considering this is my first helpdesk job.

30 minute lunch and 2x15 minute breaks.

The rest of the time I'm doing the things that I do.

There is always something to do; however; I'm not perfect and sometimes feel as though i have nothing.

Out of 7 hours of work, I probably am doing something non work related for one hour a day.

Right now, about 99%.

The department that I've worked in for 15 years is being phased out in a few weeks.

It used to be the hardest job in the plant, now it's the easiest.
