How much dose it cost to ship the average console????

I'm thinking about selling a few of my consoles that i never really use. I got a x-box i wanna sell, so thats kinda heavy i guess, and possibly a dreamcast, which is lighter. I'm sure games and controlers and stuff would be cheap anyways. But i dont know about the console, any kinda special way u should package a console so it dosent get damaged in shipping?
Hopeing someone reads this who has past experiance, and just happens to know???

i shipped a broken xbox in just the original packaging for 14 using fedex.
