how much does stringing a tennis racquet usually cost?

I think most places will do it at no additional cost provided you bought the string from them. If they do charge you for the labor, it will probably be around $5-$10.

even if i bring the racquet, and dont buy the racquet from them?

if you need to buy string too, i'd say about 20 dollars. depends on the string though, and the place

alright. thats not bad at all, basically what i was expecting.

I have a local "pro" guy string mine when they break. He charges $10 with string and strings it to whatever tension I want.

Sports Authority and most other places string it free if you buy strings from them.
