I had my first Red Bull drink yesterday. I'm wondering if someone may please tell me, how much one can costs, and some retail stores where i can buy it?

holy crap, it's really 2$ for one can? What a rip! Thanks, does a retail store like walmart sell it?

yeap but not any cheaper. you can also get case's of it form Sams club! heh

meh, i went to target with the gf yesterday, and i bawked when i saw the price for 1 freaking can of red bull. $1.99. outrageous i tell you! you're just paying for sugar and nothing more. you're better off getting a nice big 2 liter bottle of black cherry vanilla coke. mmm, now THAT is satisfying!

Red Thunder at Aldi's for $.75 each (4pk @ $3). Its not only far cheaper, its got more kick to it.

The taste is about the same as Red Bull which makes some speculate it is the same but rebranded, however its definitely different.

I prefer Rockstar, its a bigger can and the same price.
Still expensive.. but theres nothing like a Rockstar and Vodka at 11am after a hard night of drinking to make you feel better.

Not to mention that Michael Savage's son is the founder (or CEO, or something) of the company. Rockstar FTW!

Don't know how much the carbonated version here in North America, but for rougly 8 oz plastic cup or plastic bottle chilled is rougly $0.05 at the local Thai shop.

It is an energy supplement that can be had almost anywhere in Thailand, and it is good as a $0.05 drink, but $2.00 is way too much for it. I would rather have water, beer, or pop if I have to spend $2.00 on a drink.

rockstar tastes like, well.... as a friend would say, babies

its horrible, and the energy isn't there

Monster Assault FTW!!!
regular Monster is similar to RedBull
there's Monster Khaos (fruit juice mix with monster ingredients, really good, and its 170%)
and 'Lost...' has an energy drink, well.. called 'Lost...'.. Monster makes it for them, it's a little sweeter/smoother though
(any of those listed above are 160z products that are double the size, and double the energy cocktail than RedBull, for the same pricetag)

and those that say energy drinks are nothing but sugar either have a very strange immunity to the energy cocktails, or haven't had one
they are expensive.. but its more than caffeine and sugar
why do i say that? i've had 200mg worth of caffeine in assorted coffee drinks I make at home, and um... different effect, actually not much an effect period

the other things that are in a can of Monster (or any drink for that matter, but Monster has the highest concentrations in an energy drink iirc) definitly help provide energy. guarana seed extract is one of them, as is ginseng, taurine, l-carnitine, and vitamins like b-vitamins... the effect from taurine is debatable, but the other ingredients definitly provide energy

I was drinking a lot of vodka and redbull for a few weeks in a row...kinda cutting back now as i was getting annihilated off of it.

On the way to Killington for a week of snowboarding, I stopped at the local beer store. At the register there were a few cases of Red Bull stacked next to the counter. I asked how much it was for a case. He said " I don't know, I think $12"
I bought all six cases 😀
