I got into an accident and need to change my front bumper and my hood. How much am I looking at approximately to get the new hood and bumper painted? And should I get the hood and bumper painted before I install them or after?

Thanks

Hahaha, I don't think so.

Oh and how long can you drive around with just the primer on the hood and bumper?

My car is a 96 Civic LX 4 door. I don't want to have to repaint the whole car if possible.

Probably 1000 bucks for a decent job. They will have to color match. Have them painted before installing.

$10, tops.

If you want them to do it exactly and not get any on the fenders, then it's probably upwards of $100 or so. :)

At least $1000. Trust me paint jobs are not something you want to be cheap with.

Some idiot side-swiped me in my Grand Cherokee and didn't stop. Luckily the only thing that he hit was my mirror but it put a small dent in the middle of my door. Now the paint area on the door really isn't that big considering is has alot of plastic trim on the bottom. I paid for it out of pocket and the cost was $475

Alright, I've got mine in the shop right now:

Front bumper w/ clearcoat: $156
Front Fender (should be about same as hood) w/ clearcoat: $218

I also have everything primed already, so if your replacement panels aren't primed, expect to pay a bit more. I'm also giving them about $3000 in work total, so I might be getting some kind of discount, but looks like $500 would be a reasonable guess. This is at what everyone I talked to said is the best paint shop in the area.

I just recently got a quote to replace my hood and repaint it and blend the front fenders, $1000. Also, never use aftermarket parts. They just don't fit right.
