how much does filling a cavity cost?

no insurance period and this tooth is killing me whenever something solid hits the center of the top of it.

My dentist charges about $100 for a big filling, $60 for a small one. Crowns are $600.

It depends on the type of filling material , the size and location of the area to be filled.

I had a filling "replaced" last year, not sure if that costs more than just a filling, but it was $120.
