How much does a regular land line w/ no features cost w/ tax per month?

I checked on this for myself not long ago, and I was looking at around $30-$32 a month after taxes. This was with no caller ID, nothing at all.

Hmmmm, guess its not really worth the switch then....

Right now i use Roadrunner Cable Internet ($44) and Vonage ($17) = $61

If i switch, i'll be looking at Verizon DSL ($30) and Verizon POTS ($30) = $60

that's about what it costs me.

was $24.54 in Charlotte, NC for the most basic plan they had with no features. My Vonage plan is $14.99/month with all features, and 500 minutes 🙂

my monthly POTS bill is over $87
that is with the standard feature package, call waiting and voice mail, etc and unlimited long distance, that part is $25 i think
this is Sprint Local in BFE, so they can charge out the ass

i got my SunRocket VoIP yesterday and so far it is working well with my WISP and my wife has no complaints. hopefully when i pay the sprint bill at the end of this week it will be my last POTS bill forever
