So yeah now that I am like a businessman and all I need to get myself a nice looking suit.

Where can I go to get a nice one without getting ripped off? I am thinking Men's Warehouse but am open to suggestions..

Do you guys all own suits? How much did you pay for them? I do not want anything crazy expensive but obviously I'm no going to go around wearing something from Target..

Custome tailor and made wool suit from Men's Wearhouse for a little over $300. I forgot. The tailor feels your balls.

On good sales, you can find great $200 suits.

Men's Wearhouse is fine. You'll hear people slam 'em, but don't sweat it.

It's about the suit itself, not who's selling it.

I only own a couple suits, but they're both Men's Wearhouse and very nice.

Most important.......(imho).............go for a suit that you like *and* that fits you well while feeling comfortable. A binding suit is TEH SUCK!!

Check LA times.. they have indian tailors which will custom make you shirts suits out of silk and wool cheap.

Usually the deal runs like this - they rent a room over weekend at LA cenvention center/local hotels. You come in get all measured up. They send order to thailand or india and in three weeks it's at your house.

3 suits ~$600 that are fitted and really nice silk on Armani grade.. they steal the designs anyway.

This is the first time you've bought a suit? "expensive" is relative...some here are fine with a $200 suit whilst others don't mind paying a grand or two. Just go to a tailor or a store and see what you think of their designs and how you look...then see if you can justify the price or not.

If you want to wait until after Thanksgiving, I hear places have 2 for one deals on pretty expensive suits like Boss. (Black Friday)

    Can anyone confirm this?

does the mens wearhouse sell nice suits? or all they all cheap?

i want to get my money's worth but also want to go somewhere that they have good taste and can match a suit to ones personality and style.

i am not a women i do not know what "looks good" on me. and nor do i trust me judgement. that is what the people that work at the store are for ;)

nothing fvcking pisses me off when i go to the store and ask for something that would look good on me and they say "whatever you think looks good."

yeah that's great advice if you are going to go get dressed up and spend the evening alone in front of the mirror looking at yourself but no i will take the advice of someone who has an eye for style and can match a suit to a person.

that is to say, a smart women or gay man ;)

Men's Warehouse has a great selection but I went in there last week and they are like hawks. And they get mad if you don't buy right away.
