didnt you see the no text in either of them, indicating an accident?

here, try something. make a new thread, without text... then type in a title, then hit return 2x.... try to do it accidently.

Wasting money on a set of armor to make a computer case is a colossally stupid manuever.

Even a prefab set of decorative armor (i.e. plate) will set you back $1500 for a crappy set up to $5000 for something more elaborate. Custom crafted armor can run from $5000+

Chain mail can be had for about $1200 but that's not good for anything besides preventing puncture wounds.

maybe i'll talk to the friend who made my katanas... he only makes japanese swords though, might be a stretch for him to make a medieval suit of armor..,

he could get me a suit of Samurai armor, and weapons though... hmm...... damn, im not oriental so it wouldnt work. i guess i have to go with standard armor :p

Bah... A katana isn't a real katana unless it's forged like these :p
Making swords and armor are two completely different skills as well. I doubt he could get the time or materials very easily to craft a set of anything worthwhile.

Samurai armor also costs around $3000. We had a set but it was stolen a long time ago. :(

Oh, and BTW, when referring to people the proper terminology is "Asian" not "oriental." Oriental is for describing salads and rugs.

no, these are old style. sorry, they are wakasazi's. 2 of them. 1.5 feet long each. hollow blade, tempered, really awesome and very beautiful...

im working on learning knife fighting. these would be excellent for that :p they're mini swords!

nah, i dont want samurai armor, it looks funny. :p

and i dont care what proper terminology is... if you want ultra proper terminology, i do not have features resembling that of a mongoloid. so therefore i wouldnt look right in oriental armor.

i think you can have a decent suit of armor for 15 gold pieces. but if you want it made out of dragon scale, it'll cost another 10 and you're gonna want to get the enchanted crest of healing inscribed on it, too (another 3). find the old blacksmith's shop in the hidden forest of the south (ask the guy selling chickens in the town square how to get there). once you find the store, use your mighty mace of melek to crush the gargoyles defending the door (why does he have gargoyles in the first place? you'd think he could use the business!) once you go in, refuse his first offer of 25 and he'll counter with 15 for the normal iron armor, or 25 for the dragon scale if you buy the other stuff (normally 40, so a good deal! too bad there aren't any pms or rebates available ;)). oh, and don't let him talk you into rustproofing. your mystical bubble ring will keep out all moisture. damn non-essential dealer upgrades!

15 gold? No way, man. A suite of rigid leather armour costs more than that! Depending on your race and class, a decent suite of armour could run into the hundreds of platinum pieces.

You'll also need about 140 dragon hides for a full suite of dragon hide armour. Depending on the color(white, blue, red, green, black), it could cost you an extra hundred plat or so.
