how much does a clown fish cost?

The clownfish itself isn't much, but they really stick you with the price of those bigass shoes.

No you don't. Clowns might host in an anemone, but it's not required. They can live well without one and might host in certain corals as well.

clownfish are one of the cheaper marine fishes at around 10bux... 7bux on that site is actually a pretty nice price, only damsels are cheaper :).

my dad has had 4 clowns in a fish only tank for the past... 5+ years? its been so long since we have gotten a new fish.. lol

3 of the are false perculas, 1 is a true. had a pair of the true, but the male commited suicide a few years back :(

Judging from images.google.com it would look like the true ones have black in them and false dont. Percula being a type of clown fish. I may be totally wrong as I don't even eat fish let alone own one :p
