How much do you tip your barber?

I give $3, for a $11 cut. I see some guys around giving twenties out just for a 10-minute trim. Big spenders I guess. If you're in New York and ever been down to Astor Hair, you know what I mean.

Short hair, so it don't take much work.. $12 haircut, $2 tip. Used to get $5 haircuts and would still tip $2.

$9 tip on a $16 haircut is a 56% tip.
In Iowa that could be a weeks pay :D

Bet you do get good service.

Try that here in Fl., NOTHING gets you good service.

I tip $3 on a $12 hair ruining.

Lawn service is the same here, I call them the Lawn Destroyers. Nothing about tipping, just another rant.

In the 30s here yesterday, sprinklers running and lawns being mowed. Only in Floriduh.

I usually tip $3 bucks on a 11 buck haircut. BTW, what is the difference between barber and hair stylist? For some reason, I know the person I go to would be very annoyed if I called her a barber.
